Points to remember while checking proof / authorization documents or vehicle / gate Pass :-

Points to remember while checking proof / authorization documents :-
  1. Check and matched the photo of the card holder.
  2. Check for any marks for change / producing.
  3. Check and verify name of the organization specified on the card.
  4. Check the validity / expiry date on the card.
  5. Check if the card bears signature of issuing authority.
  6. Check if the card carries any serial number.
  7. Check for the stamp of the issuing office / organization.
  8. Check for any logo on the card.
  9. Match the identification marks, if required.
  10. Any other special point to check as per policy and instruction.

Points to remember while checking vehicle / gate Pass :-

  1. Check if vehicle register number matches with the number given on card/ sticker.
  2. Check if name of the owner on the card matches.
  3. Check validity / expire date on the card.
  4. Check signature/ stamp of the issuing authority.
  5. Check the logo given on card / sticker.
  6. Any other special point to check as per policy and wait.

CORRECT POSTURES

 A correct Posture is defined as : A frame of mind affecting one’s thoughts or behavior and an overall attitude : thus implying that if a security guard’s posture is correct, his behavior is correct, his overall attitude is correct. It is therefore important that a Security Guard practices to maintain a correct posture and good bearing. There are a number of illustrations shown in subsequent images, which give difference between correct and incorrect posture and body positions. “Practice Makes a Man Perfect”. Hence when a Security Guard learns to maintain correct postures as illustrated, he will automatically maintain a good bearing, which projects him and his company / employer in good stead.
