MAINTAIN PERSONAL HYGIENE AND GOOD HABITS

It is very important for a security guard to maintain personal hygiene and good habits so as to remain always fit and healthy. Some guidelines are given below : Always wash hands with soap before meals or eating anything. Brush teeth at least twice a day, in the morning and before going to bed. Take a bath at least once every day. Change under garments regularly. Wear clean and properly ironed uniform. Shave regularly. Have a proper hair cut and comb your hair neatly. Carry a handkerchief. Do not spit every where. Do not smoke or chew tobacco on duty. Do not read novels, listen to music while on duty. Use mosquito net at night. Follow the dictum, "Sun Down Sleeves Down". In that, roll down the sleeves of the uniform during night to protect self from mosquito bites. Apply anti-mosquito cream on exposed parts of the body during night duties. CORRECT POSTURES

 A correct Posture is defined as : A frame of mind affecting one’s thoughts or behavior and an overall attitude : thus implying that if a security guard’s posture is correct, his behavior is correct, his overall attitude is correct. It is therefore important that a Security Guard practices to maintain a correct posture and good bearing. There are a number of illustrations shown in subsequent images, which give difference between correct and incorrect posture and body positions. “Practice Makes a Man Perfect”. Entry & Routine Level Physical Training

Height - minimum 160 cm for  male and 150 cm for female. Weight - according to the  standard table of height and weight. No minimum requirements for women. Chest 80 cm, with a 4 cm growth.
